The client
Obaid Nuts (Mawaleh Obaid) is a nut shop and roastery in Damascus, founded in 1999. Its signage lists its main sections: nuts, seeds, premium nuts, coffee and snacks, and special gifts, while its shelves and jars hold almonds, pistachios, cashews, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds and mixed nuts.
The identity
The identity is built on the Obaid name in Arabic and Latin script, topped by a yellow sunflower and underlined with “Nuts and more”. Deep navy and gold, paired with natural kraft paper, tie every element together, while gold line drawings of sunflowers and olive branches recur as a decorative motif.
